We’re a 501(c)(3) federally recognized nonprofit organization (incorporated under Missouri State statutes) established in 2010 that serves as a resource of volunteers with peer-to-peer support and educational materials to help men and their families/caregivers make informed decisions about prostate cancer detection, treatment options and related side effects.
Since its inception in 2008, Over the past eight years we have been very active in the struggle against Prostate Cancer across the Saint Louis Metropolitan area.
The objectives of The Empowerment Network Cancer Center are to efficiently and effectively reach populations of uninsured, underinsured, diagnosed and undiagnosed males (aged 35 years and over) and their families and to:
-Heighten awareness of prostate and related cancers.

Washington Montessori Elementary School
Panda Expressions is all about Washington Montessori Staff
Good news travels faster than fast when it come to the extraordinary staff here at Washington Montessori Elementary School. The dedication, determination and professionalism shines as bright as the afternoon sun in the clear blue sky. Shout out to all the teachers, teacher assistants, substitutes, educational specialists, counselor, nurse, secretary, custodians, dining room crew as well as the administration who all work hard daily to make our school the very best it can be.
From the classrooms to the main office, from the library to the dining room, from the hallways to the computer lab, from the playground to the school buses—we are all that, and more! Yes it is about the students. That is why we’re here. But yes, it is about the staff, too. We are the ones that make the wheels turn, the vision for the dream come alive, the light that illuminates the minds and hearts of the 400+ students at Washington Montessori. Without us, darkness prevails.
Prophetically put, as the world turns, we are called and chosen to be here for this moment in time. In the coming weeks, Panda Expressions Journal will regularly highlight the Washington Montessori staff in photos and words, sharing the story of an awesome group of individuals who put it all on the line for our kiddos. We all have stories to share, thoughts to express that uplift, achievements to articulate, and anniversaries, birthdays and recipes for “apple butter” to brag about.
